Dubbo Base Hospital Spring Ball

Dubbo Base Hospital Spring Ball is only in its forth year yet is already the largest event in the Western Area Local Health Districts social calendar. The event itself is not run for profit nor seeks to do so, rather a way of saying thanks to our hard working hospital staff whilst promoting a better culture by building morale and friendships across disciplines within the hospital. The staff at Dubbo Base Hospital provide us with an incredible standard of healthcare despite geographical and resource barriers and we are proud to support this event.

Mt Arthur Challenge

The Mt Arthur Challenge offers running and cycling events to suit the whole family and is organised by a sub committee of the Mt Arthur Trust. Any profit made by this annual event is used to fund the ongoing maintenance and management of the Mt Arthur Reserve.

Mt Arthur Trust has little regular income and relies on volunteer labour & government grants when available, in recent times they have managed to upgrade signage, picnic facilities, road maintenance, safety upgrades, fencing, weed control & some tree planting. The reserve itself is for the benefit of the whole community.
