Macquarie Credit Union Dream Festival

DREAM Festival is a community festival that welcomes everyone; embraces many facets to celebrate the Dubbo region. Each festival brings a series of entertainment, theatre, dance, visual arts, music and outdoor events from local and professional groups and artists.

DREAM utilises a range of Dubbo's facilities and venues and has a variety of ticket prices, plus many free events. With Dubbo as the ‘hub of NSW’, the festival aims to be a key destination festival within Australia’s cultural calendar, encouraging interstate visitation to see what Dubbo has to offer.

The event was created with the dual goals of:

  • improving our health and wellbeing
  • showcasing the best of Dubbo to the rest of the world.
Since the beginning, the event has continued to grow each year with numbers exceeding 2400 runners. The Dubbo Stampede serves everyone from world class marathoners to families just wanting to move off the couch and into a healthier life.

Under Western Skies Festival

The Under Western Skies Festival is Dubbo’s own music festival designed to celebrate local music and art, together with good food, craft beer, market stalls and kids activities.
A great day for the entire family held at the beautiful and historical Dundullimal Homestead – National Trust NSW.
After a very successful sold-out event in 2019, the Under Western Skies committee had worked tirelessly to plan and organise an even better event in 2020. All plans were tragically cancelled a week prior due to the Covid 19 world wide pandemic.

Black Dog Ride

The Dubbo 1 Dayer raises awareness for depression and suicide prevention in the communities they visit.
This year they went bush to visit the community at Armatree.
This was the 7th year for the Dubbo 1 Dayer hosting over 300 riders. A very impressive turnout, especially watching them stream out of the Macquarie Inn carpark as they began their ride.
Well done to organisers Wayne & Judy Amor and all volunteers behind the scenes making this fantastic event an ongoing success.

Dubbo Junior District Cricket Association

Macquarie Credit Union has offered support to our junior representative sides to ensure all players have an opportunity to represent reducing financial barriers.
