Important Changes to the rediATM Scheme

alt

The way in which we all access cash is changing. With paywave (tap and go), online and mobile banking becoming more popular, the use of ATMs to withdraw cash is declining.

What's Changing?

Changes to the rediATM network have meant that from 1 February 2019 Macquarie Credit Union will no longer be part of the network. What this means for you is that withdrawals from a rediATM from this time may incur a fee. The good news however, is that CBA, NAB, ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are all FREE!

We have also made some minor changes to our Fees and Charges Schedule to accommodate our withdrawal from the rediATM network. For a new Fees and Charges Schedule please click on the Rates and Fees sections on our home page.

Where can I find a Fee-Free ATM?

You can now have free access to over 10,000 ATMs Australia wide by using the CBA, NAB, ANZ & Westpac ATM networks.

How can I be sure I won't be charged a third party fee?

When using a third party ATM the fee is disclosed upfront allowing you the option not to proceed further. This is not a fee charged by Macquarie Credit Union, this is charged by the owner of the ATM.

What other options are available?

Apart from accessing over 10,000 fee-free ATMs Australia wide you can withdraw cash with the following options:

• At supermarkets and participating retailers with purchases.

• Australia Post outlets which offer Bank@Post services.
